Steel Cut Oatmeal with Strawberries and Nuts

Steel Cut oats are chewy and delicious and better for you than the quick cook oats.
1 cup Oats, steel cut
3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons honey, or agave nectar
1 cup milk, 1% fat
1 cup strawberries, fresh, sliced
2 tablespoons nuts, walnuts, chopped and toasted
Place 3 cups of water in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add salt and oatmeal, stir, and reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. You can cook it longer if you like it less chewy). Turn heat off and let stand for 5 minutes with cover on. Serve in bowls with milk, honey, walnuts and sliced berries on top.
