Melon and Prosciutto Skewers

You will need skewers for this. It makes a nice appetizer or snack with a glass of wine or champagne.

Ingredients

1/4 cantaloupe, balled or cubed

1/4 honey dew melon, balled or cubed

6 ounce(s) cheese, mozzarella, low moisture and part skim milk, cubed or sliced

12 basil, fresh, leaves (optional)

3 ounces prosciutto

Preparation

Cut prosciutto into 2 inch pieces. Cut melon into cubes or use a melon baller to make small melon balls. Thread all ingredients onto the skewers, alternating between the prosciutto, cheese and melon. If desired, thread basil leaves throughout each skewer. Serve cold.
