Watermelon Salsa and Chips

Serves: 8

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 0 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Comments

If you like cilantro or basil, then try substituting it for the mint or make it spicier with more hot pepper sauce. We also serve this as a fresh side fruit salad.

Ingredients

2 cups watermelon, seedless, chopped

2 cups pineapple chunks, fresh, chopped

1/4 onion(s), red, finely chopped

1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped

3 tablespoons orange juice

1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

4 cups tortilla chips

Preparation

Mix watermelon, pineapple, onion, orange juice, mint and hot pepper sauce. If possible, refrigerate for an hour or so to meld flavors together. Serve with tortilla chips.
