Green Beans with Toasted Almonds

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds green beans

1/4 cup nuts, almonds, slivered and toasted

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper, black, ground

Preparation

Cut the ends off of the green beans and cut into approx. 3 inch pieces. Heat a large skillet with approximately 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Add the beans and cook for about 4 minutes until just tender. Drain water. Add salt, pepper and almonds and toss.
